Red and White

There is an air of mystical feeling here. I am normally not drawn to bright colors, but the brighter colors were so well counter balanced with the darker hues. I couldn't help but to feel upbeat or in awe when I looked at this bit.

The smoky aura also has a very large impact onto this work as well. It successively drowns out all external detail and brings the viewers eye to the critical part of the scene.

And where it is the sharpest, there holds a shrowd of smoke as well, a successful tough of repetition that looks like it was done by a master, not a student.

This was a huge success.
