False Infrared Photography TutorialAbstract and Surreal Photography Weekend
Hello everyone!
I am going to be showing you how to do infrared photography in Photoshop. For this tutorial all you will need is Photoshop or a similar editing software you are familiar with.
Let's get started!
Here is the photo we will be creating digitally (a.k.a. false infrared in Photoshop):
To begin go out into the world and take a photo with lots of bright greenery! Here's what this photo looked like before editing:
It doesn't look like much yet, but it will once we are done with it! Start by opening up the image you want to use in Photoshop. After you open up the image right click on the background layer and select "duplicate." Make sure the layer you just created is selected and invert this layer by clicking on "image" > "adjustments" > "invert."

It's like Springtime has taken effect on this small cottage, and that because no one leaves there, it's able to give blossom to a multitude of pink flowers. It's also like a flower petal snow. It covers the ground with such beauty. When I was back in Georgia, there was this section in the woods that is like a small grove, giving bloom to a ton of snowbells and...um, other flowers that I don't know.
It's been a while since I gave a critique to anyone, and that I haven't been proactive in that. Since I was using the mobile app, it doesn't provide an ability to give critique to art. Nevertheless, your art continues to impress me, and I love this one in this time of day.
