Description

For one of my projects I had to come up with at least five photographs that show how artificial light can really push the color in photography.
I was very unsure with what I should do at first,
but while on Tumblr I found an artist by the name of Bobby Dohurty (You can see his Tumblr here bobbydoherty.tumblr.com/)
I thought his work was amazing,
and I wanted to try some of the techniques he used in my own works.
Out of this I have created a small series titled "Pop Art isn't Dead" and I plan on adding to it over time.
Hope everyone enjoys!

I love the advertising on these cans of fish! Very domineering and creative. Love the colors red, white, orange, and blue. These colors really help the containers stand out in the picture. You are absolutely right, my friend, maybe pop art isn't dead. I like this picture...the advertising of anchovies, the King Oscar and Vigo label, the colors...very vintage and out of the ordinary. What I especially like is the background. A blend of light and color...orange, blue, and white...the colors smoothly transition from one color to the next color. I'm very, extremely impressed with the colors in this picture.
