A Puddle's Secret

life - death - memories and rebirth - hope

those are the words that came to my mind when looking at this photo - a great juxtaposition of different emotions and states creating a circle. 
The bare branches of the trees in the reflection show the stage when the year drawing to an end, dormant and withdrawing from the warm and alive months. The leaves scattered throughout the picture like memories past that are clearly part of us, part of the trees despite the fact that they are not visually attached to us anymore, they are still, even not as vibrant there and always will be. Making room for new ones to sprout, to develop, to come alive in the months to come. 
The green on the lower edge, a color of hope, the blue sky reflected in the water the encouragement despite the clouds out there, too. Water is life. 

 I really love this image for the composition of the elements and the composition of it. The crown of tree is still somewhat center in the image like it would be in a "normal" photograph of it. The focus set on the center of the image and some great vignetting blur creating a frame around it that leaves visible yet room for imagination of the details. 
Great angle make this image so perfect to be perfectly aligned, shallow perspective that has almost no depth and distortion as it gets further in the distance. Wonderful!
